Hopefully you’ve heard about the global youth event coming up on Sunday, January 28. Elder Gary E. Stevenson will be speaking, and youth are encouraged to gather and watch a prerecorded video that will include discussion prompts.
How is your youth group planning on participating? Here’s a suggested outline for helping youth get the most out of it:
- Ask a youth to conduct the meeting
- Begin with music and a prayer provided by youth
- Watch the video together, which is about 45 minutes long, at ChurchofJesusChrist.org
- Pause when prompted to discuss questions as a group (invite someone ahead of time to facilitate discussion as needed)
- Close with a prayer
- Spend time afterward as desired
The broadcast will focus on introducing the 2024 youth theme, “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ,” based on 3 Nephi 5:13. Music, printable artwork, activity ideas, and more about this theme can be found at youth.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
